The Challenge

Deutsche Aircraft was transitioning from a legacy regional aviation brand to a forward-looking sustainable aircraft manufacturer. The existing identity failed to communicate their pioneering role in hydrogen-powered flight and next-generation propulsion. They needed a brand that could stand on the global stage alongside Airbus and Boeing while signalling a fundamentally different approach to aviation’s future. The rebrand had to navigate the regulatory and reputational complexity of the aerospace sector—where every claim is scrutinised by regulators, investors, and environmental bodies alike.

The Approach

We conducted a comprehensive brand audit and competitive positioning study across the European aerospace sector. The visual identity was rebuilt from the ground up: a refined logo evolution, complete brand book, and a design system spanning digital, print, experiential, and merchandise. The website was designed and developed to serve as a primary investor and recruitment channel, featuring a location-based search tool that processed over 1,700 queries from prospective partners worldwide. Airshow chalet designs, unveil videos, and social media content were produced to support the D328eco programme launch. Every touchpoint was engineered to balance engineering credibility with the ambition of sustainable aviation.

The Results

The rebrand launched at the Farnborough International Airshow to significant industry attention. The new digital platform became the primary channel for investor and partner engagement, attracting over 12,000 unique visitors in its first quarter. The location search tool generated 1,718 qualified search interactions from potential operators across 40+ countries. Social media engagement increased measurably following the coordinated content rollout, and the brand book became the reference document for all internal and external communications.
